Today we said goodbye to Pauline of Next Step Playschool. Pauline has been a huge part of our school life for many years and she touched all of our daily lives in some way with her eternal good humour and grace. Pauline, thank you for all the wonderful memories and for setting us up with skills and habits that make our transition to "big school" and onwards so much easier. Enjoy your well earned retirement and do drop in to say hello and have a cuppa any time you are passing.

Thanks to all the third and fourth class pupils who helped clean up the litter on the roads around the school today as part of the Team Limerick Clean-Up 2021. We collected five bags of litter. It is a pity that people throw so much litter around out beautiful countryside which someone else has to pick up after them.

From now on when a child returns to school after an absence, parents have an extra alternative to handling paper or using other methods, in the Return to School Declaration - you may complete it and forward it "automatically" by means of your Connect app. It should prove very simple, convenient and secure - just involves ticking your answer to one question about your child's health. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
How to: It is done either through the Attendance Notes option on the homepage of the app or on the Aladdin homepage via browser. Say, for example your child is set to return on Monday March 15th - because they have been absent for even a day, let alone the long lockdown - a badge will appear after 3pm on Sunday March 14th in your notifications to prompt you to do it, close to the time of return.
So, bear in mind, it can be done manually by Secretary too, if you wish - just let us know. It's no problem. Thanks!
