We had our last "mile" challenge this morning. Since Easter, every Tuesday and Thursday morning, we run three laps of the pitch.
Mr. Lavin congratulated us and told us that, as a school, we have run the length of Ireland since Easter - an incredible 486 kilometers.

Sports Day June 1st 2016
Our Sports Day was a brilliant success. We had fabulous weather. At the end of the day everyone was exhausted, but happy.
We were divided into 8 teams based on countries participating in the European Championships. We participated in lots of different events such as - long puck, target throwing, long kick, 100m race, 200m race, balloon race, hula-hoop race, three-legged race, relay race, sack race and the clothes-peg challenge.
Thanks to Shane and Thomas' dad who delivered most welcome ice creams to us at the end of the day.
See here for some photos and a video of the clothes-peg challenge.
The Infants Sports Day will be held before we go on summer holidays
