Annual Admission Notice

The period specified for receiving applications for 2023-2024 is Friday 06 January – Friday 10 March 2023 14:40 hrs.

The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is no later than Friday 5 May, following which applicants have until Friday 26 May by which they must confirm acceptance of an offer or it may be withdrawn.

Your first step should be to pre-enrol below.

Note: Manister National School will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with our Admission Policy. Please see our Admission Policy which you may download. Or request a hard copy by emailing school or by telephoning 061-397220.


Pre-enrol your child for next September, choosing whichever class you intend your child to enter.

  • Submit form and hear from us by Thursday 16 March 2023.
  • Your submission will be treated will be treated in strictest confidence.

The school plans to use the mobile number and/or email you supply to issue text messages and/or emails to communicate important school information with you, about school closures, sports days etc. Additionally, the school requests parents/guardians to download the Aladdin Connect app to similarly keep informed and to access Homework, Report Cards and Absence & Attendance functionalities. Parents/guardians confirm that the contact information supplied is correct and provide consent for this use.
